This pair of boots can take you through your average day...breakfast at the
Petroleum Club, an afternoon at the cattle auction, steak dinner at the Country
Club and a moonlight horseback ride along the water. Yes, a good pair of boots
can make these hum-drum, day-to-day activities seem less like work. Tony Lama
"stovepipe" black leather boots in rough condition with lots of vintage vibe!
Boots have had a lot of wear and a lot of love. Boots are all leather with a
straight cut, "stovepipe" top. Leather is wrinkled from age, some small nicks
here and there, a few dings on the toes, but in good condition otherwise.
Leather is still soft and supple. Top edge of the stovepipe on the right boot
has the inner lining pulling away from the outer, about 1" long. The soles are
where these boots show the most wear. Right boot has a large hole worn through
the outer leather sole under the ball of the foot. The left boot has a small
hole at the tip of the toe and two other areas about an inch away where the
leather is getting thin and starting to chip off. Both heels have been replaced
with Cat's Paw Replacement Heels, and show a lot of wear. Left boot heel is a
bit loose and will need professional attention. Neither of the replacement
heels fit exactly as they should, leaving the heels looking like an uneven
stack of leather. Both boots have a bit of separation of the sole from the
upper on the inside, midway along the sole. Boots measure approx. 11" from toe
to heel, measuring inside the boot. NOTE: Our fit model wears a Men's 10 1/2
and says that these fit a bit snug and are slightly narrow...would probably fit
a Men's Size 10 comfortably. Even in their condition, these are stylish boots
with a very unique look!
